Victor Dreams Holder: " In 2022-2023, I served as the artist in residence for the ex-Sea Shepherd's historic vessel, the Steve Irwin Ship 77, as part of the

'Seaing is Believing' immersive exhibition by Ship4Good MV Steve Irwin Not for Profit.


My role involved creating animated story mapping projections on the ship's deck and developing a series of paintings inside the ship known as 'Ocean Life Upholders Artworks.' The concept aimed to honor all sentient beings sustaining life on Earth, from micro-organisms like phytoplankton producing 70% of Earth's oxygen to whales providing nutrients for the oceans.


The tribute extended to Captain Paul Watson, the Steve Irwin ship, ocean warriors, volunteers combating the whaling and fishing industry, and educators like Kerry Goodall, the director & producer on the Steve Irwin."
